Boyun, called Green Top, is a short drive or sensible up-slope stroll from Kalam town. The area has become a popular tourist attraction, known for its mountains, forests and lakes. It is the birthplace of Swat river, which forms with confluence of two major tributaries of Gabral river and Ushu river.
It is a sub-valley of Swat, at an elevation of about 2,000 m (6,600 ft) above sea level, and providing rooms for a small but fertile plateau above the river for farming. From Kalam, the metaled road ends and shingle road leads to the Usho and Utror valleys. From Matiltan, some snow-capped mountains are visible including Mount Falaksar 5,918 meters (19,416 feet), and another unnamed peak 6,096 meters (20,000 feet) high. Other than the evergreen fir and pine trees on the slopes, most of the landscape seemed brown and damp. In front of hotel, in the compound of another guest house, stood tall trees which made the red shed-like roofs seem quite appealing. The tall leafless trees, with the snowy mountains in the background, formed a great view for the evening.

بویون، جسے دوسری صورت میں گرین ٹاپ کہا جاتا ہے، کالام شہر سے اوپر ڈھلوان پر ایک وادی ہے جو مینگورہ سے 99 کلومیٹر (62 میل) کے فاصلے پر پاکستان کے صوبہ خیبر پختونخواہ میں دریائے سوات کے کنارے وادی سوات کے شمالی بالائی علاقوں میں واقع ہے۔ یہ علاقہ سیاحوں کی توجہ کا مرکز اپنے پہاڑوں، جنگلات اور جھیلوں کی وجہ سے بن گیا ہے۔ یہ دریائے سوات کی جائے پیدائش ہے جو دریائے گبرال اور دریائے اوشو کے دو بڑے معاون دریاؤں کے سنگم سے بنتی ہے۔
بویون وادی سطح سمندر سے تقریباً 2,000 میٹر (6,600 فٹ) کی بلندی پر ہے۔ کالام سے اُشو اورپھر اُترور کی وادیوں کی طرف رستہ جاتا ہے۔ جس پر برف پوش پہاڑ نظرباآسانی نظر آتے ہیں جن میں ماؤنٹ فلکسار 5,918 میٹر (19,416 فٹ) اور ایک اور بے نام چوٹی 6,096 میٹر (20,000 فٹ) اونچی ہے۔ ڈھلوانوں پر سدا بہار دیودار کے درختوں کے علاوہ، زمین کی تزئین مختلف رنگوں کے پھولوں سے بھری ہوی ہے اور برفیلے پہاڑوں کے ساتھ لمبے لمبے پتوں کے درخت شام کے وقت ایک بہترین منظر پیش کر رہے ھوتے ھیں۔
